The Hazelmere Café was built in 1897 and has always traded as a café and "refreshment rooms".
The Stubley family bought the café in 1984 and then the adjoining shop in 1987 into which they extended the bakery side of the business. Over the years the business has grown and its reputation for good food and drink has spread far and wide.
The attention to detail, enthusiasm for excellent food and drink and the dedication of a hard working team has brought the Hazelmere numerous awards and accolades.The emphasis at the Hazelmere is on locally sourced, seasonal food with everything being made on the premises to local or original Hazelmere recipes.
