Grange Town Council wishes to recruit a Deputy Town Clerk

The successful candidate will assist in managing a team of eight and be responsible for managing the day to day business of the Council, project management and procurement.

The candidate will deputise for and assist the Town Clerk.

Applicants will need to be computer literate, able to prepare council agendas and record minutes, be familiar with financial procedures and have experience in business and project management.  Training will be available.

  • 22 hours per week, plus an additional eight hours per week if there is a need, including some evening meetings
  • Salary £22,221 to £31,754 pro rata dependant on experience
